Fixed Roofing

Fixed roofs are the structural solution to enclose rooms for different purposes: bedrooms, sitting-rooms, storage rooms, etc, semi-closed areas such as fixed porches. Because of its building features (removable) it is approved by municipal and community rules and regulations. The system is waterproof and windproof.

The type of cladding employed depends on its use. By using cellular polycarbonate better use can be made of daylight and insulated areas producing a glasshouse effect, very advisable for cold areas or for rooms where light and solar heat are necessary.

Cladding with sandwich type panels with the approved thermal break will protect outdoor areas increasing the performance of heating and air conditioners by stopping the heat or the cold from coming in.

The adjustment to different shapes, as well as the number of finishing options in colours and textures (plain panels, brick imitation panels) turn them into a highly recommended solution to shaping the enclosed spaces.

Movable Roofing

Movable roofs add ideal solutions when closing off an outside area, when closed the system is water and wind proof, however you can open the enclosure whenever you wish to take advantage of the outdoor weather. This double function creates lots of enjoyment and use.

The materials used for cladding will give different qualities to the enclosures: polycarbonate, sandwiched panel and laminated glass for safety are the most usual ones.

The roof is made up of telescopic lines in a number of modules (3 or 4 modules for each line being one fixed and the rest movable).

To open and close the roof is done by sliding the movable modules under one fixed module along the rail of each telescopic line; this process can be manual or mechanized. The space opening between can be a 66% or 75% depending if there are 3 or 4 panels per movable line.
